Who we are & why we built this
RottRescue was founded by people who have personally fostered, rehabilitated, and rehomed Rottweilers and other power breeds. We’ve seen what happens when adopters don’t get the right guidance — dogs returned to shelters, families overwhelmed, and animals that never had the chance to show who they really are.
This site exists because good information saves lives. Not the generic “be patient” advice you find everywhere — but the specific, breed-aware guidance that comes from hands-on experience with large, powerful, often misunderstood dogs.
